This is the story of The Aumentare Di Eternita Bloodline, how it came to be.
Our family was not planned, but it's funny how fate sometimes works.
Aumentare Di Eternia (ADiE) was founded by Lady Raine Mapholisto and Lady Reesha Gemini. They met by coincidence, but in the coming years and storms, they would come to realize that fate brought them together as friends. Together, they would learn what it took to be leaders, and share their philosophy with others.
It all began with a single choice. The choice to join an ancient family, long gone now. The former Arch Vampire Austin Birdsong introduced both Lady Raine and Lady Reesha to his family. As they came to know the Arch and his family...they noticed many things. Some good, some not so good. They met many of the members of his family, and a few remain friends to this day. But one major thing they noticed was missing. True leadership. The give and take of being both teacher and student. Camaraderie. To Lady Raine and Lady Reesha... this family just did not fit them, or their ideals. And then came the troubles.... the Arch and his wife were stolen to another realm, and it would be some time before they would be heard from again.
While they were gone, the family wondered what they should do... some wanted to leave, some wanted Lady Raine to step forward and lead...more and more members stood behind her...and so, with Lady Reesha at her side.. she approached The Source himself and told him she had made the decision. She would lead the family if it were His will.
The Source spoke with her, and Lady Reesha for quite some time. Questioning their reasons, seeking to find that certain spark of something that he always found in those he chose as Archs. In the end, he found what he was seeking within them...and told them to choose how their family would be founded.
After many discussions, they decided that the things they valued most.. were honesty, loyalty, honor, and love. These were the building blocks of strong foundations. Together, they also decided that the Phoenix would represent them. Phoenix lives for a time and then die in flames, only to be reborn stronger, and wiser. For Raine and Reesha, that was exactly what it felt like... that they were being reborn, and together they would make their family stronger. As a mantra, they took up saying "From the ashes, we have risen. Together we walk through eternity, never looking back." To them, it reminded them where they came from, and what they were wanting to build.
Seasons changed, family came and went. And still, they endure. Over the years the family flourishes, and yes, goes through growing pains. But they continue to grow together.
