Diabolics

In the Progeny universe, a Diabolic is a devilish entity that assists the Source in his endeavors. Diabolics act as the technical support and development team for Grave Designs, and assist the members of Progeny when needed.

Types of Diabolic Entities

Apeiron

The Apeiron is the second in command of the system and is head of the Diabolic Conclave.

Greater Diabolics

The Greater Diabolics oversee the system as a whole. They are members of the Diabolic Conclave. Decisions affecting the system as a whole are voted on by the Diabolic Conclave.

Cambion Diabolics

Cambion Diabolics, are full diabolics.

They do not serve on the Diabolic Council but their thoughts are given serious consideration.

They may have specialist skills and specific duties but are able to assist players as a diabolic.

Cambions were added to the system on January 1st, 2018.

Past Misconceptions

There has been some confusion over the role of cambions. The notion that they are "diabolics in training," a type of infernal or a class below diabolic should be dispelled.
