-Our Source hopes to see this become a regularly occurring event and hopes to see these gatherings as a positive force to allow for discussion of what the community may wish to see and so forth. -Our Source is working on building an entirely new web registration tool from the ground up. -It will present the ability to develop new projects more efficiently and easily. -Features will include the interaction with the system and help designate individuals to proper groups (Officers and Elders to their respective groups under the titles according to their positions) -With inworld scripting 99% done and the web tools scripting itself around 75% done, testing is projected to begin next Friday. -When web registration is done, re-sire device will become the next primary focus. -Re-sire system is working, however needs a tool to deal with Orphans. -After that, the Mentor and Blood Line Trees will be next on the primary focus. -Slayer HUD and the others will come next.

Role Play and Progeny

-Opinions expressed includes the feelings of IC and OOC, with a reference to matters of GCSC laws written with a mixture of the two and a number perceived to be nearly impossible to RP. -Some people may be scared to RP in the PV chat itself, in fear of errors with titles and such. -More role play within the Progeny Castle is expressed as something that would be nice to see -On the matter of "lifestylers vs. role players", there is a use of terms such as "hud", "sim" and so on, that shouldn't be something in the vocabulary of actively being immersed in a role. -It was proposed to make Progeny Sim role play only. -RP classes could perhaps be reinstated -A means of showing who is and who isn't "actively role playing" could help aid in the differentiating among those of different play styles and help along with the matter. -As far as the matter of those RPing as species without a HUD, it is noted that the Diabolics and Infernals will be pushing them to get established without the HUDs. -Lycanthrope group chat is reinstated for communications and you can contact a Diabolic or Infernal for the invite (only those who are Lycans and anticipate the HUD itself too) -As better stated, we have the people, the talent and skills, and potential to make Progeny the best with RP and to be the most diverse with these minds. It's a matter of us organizing to push it.

Q: Is there anything you would like to see us do as a community to better help you out? A: Have fun. Drama drags Our Source away from development.

Q: Will the random Doving (and essentially breaking) of HUDs be resolved? A: N/A

Q: Is the Lycan HUD coming out after the list? A: Yes, however there is uncertainty with how the form will take.

Q: Do you consider war as drama? A: It depends on the war. If it includes strategy-based fighting, then no. If it includes mudslinging and insulting back and forth... [then yes]

Q: Will there be weapons? A: There will be weapons once the next HUD comes out.

Q: Where does Blood Traits fall on the time line? A: Blood Talents require a new framework, and can be look forward to after the other species HUDs are released and Vampire HUD is updated.

Q: Will there be a tool implemented in the HUD to scan for members of Progeny in a region? A: The original plan was to include "awareness" to which would work with the age of a vampire. Though it's not presently a huge priority, it can still be possible to see developed.

Q: Could more information on Slayers be provided and how it will be expanded and integrated into the community?

There will be two main types

PC and NPC

NPC slayers will be crusaders that are automatically triggered and released by special events such as major masquerade breaches.

These will track vampires and slay them in their homes unless safe guarded. The system of this is partially built.

( tip big pools of blood in very public places may draw them to your door )

PC slayers

A) Will be mortal, EG> if you kill them, they die, start over. So they will have an XP system. The longer they stay alive and the more successful they are, the more they have to lose etc.

B) They will have weapons

C) They will be most effective when a vampire is feeding

D) They will have Talents and abilities

E) They will not unless really really power be able to stand toe to toe with a vampire. They work on stealth and surprise.

F) They may have classes, Priest, Hunter, Tracker, Slayer, etc.

Q: Could Archs (and Blood Regents) one day possibly be simply the Blood Elders they are without political ties? A: It is a thought that has come to Our Source's mind a number of times. He has also asserted it isn't a political role. But furthermore that Progeny is what the players make it, including the roles.

Q: Is there a way to not take part in the RPing 24/7 with Slayers? A: RP itself is avoidable, however Progeny being a grid-wide system would assert that no place (unless doved) is safe. Although politely asking to avoid a fight can be done. (Slayers slay, it's their thing)

Q: Would the Slayer and Lycan HUDs have the ability to show who is what? A: When it is closer to the release of these species, it will be set in stone with their capabilities.

Q: What is the official stance with the Diabolics and Progeny itself with the matter of outside HUDs? A: People are free to play what they wish, so as long they don't use the sim or official Progeny communication channels to pursue recruitment.

PC and NPC

NPC slayers will be crusaders that are automatically triggered and released by special events such as major masquerade breaches.

These will track vampires and slay them in their homes unless safe guarded. The system of this is partially built.

PC slayers

   A) Will be mortal,  EG> if you kill them, they die, start over.  So they will have an XP system.  The longer they stay alive and the more successful they are,  the more they have to lose etc.
   B) They will have weapons 
   C) They will be most effective when a vampire is feeding
   D) They will have Talents  and abilities 
   E) They will not unless really really power be able to stand toe to toe with a vampire.  They work on stealth and surprise.
