Societas Draconistrarum story:
The Order of the Dragon is an organization shrouded in secrecy. However, we can share the morals upon which we are founded: Loyalty, Integrity and Honour. These qualities reside in each of our hearts and minds.
- Our documented beginnings take place in the early part of the 1400s, but most of us know our origins start much earlier than that. We have been graced with colourful figures of history among our ranks. You may know some of them, such as Sigismund of Luxembourg, King of Hungary, Germany, Bohemia and eventually the Holy Roman Emperor; Stibor of Stiboricz, the Voivode of Transylvania; Vlad II Dracul, then Prince of Wallachia; as well as a few members of the Hungarian noble family of Báthory. (Hint: Elizabeth was the most notorious of them all.)
We have spent lifetimes guarding our legacy and to this day continue still. It is the duty of members of Societas Draconistrarum to maintain our sacred secrets. Revealing our nature to the human world is unsafe for both sides. Therefore, all members vow to maintain the masquerade, carefully guarding our Family, as well as Progeny as a whole, faithfully and fully.
Societas Draconistrarum is a close knit and exclusive family which acts in unison to continue our proud and honourable legacy. All among us are Lords and Ladies, and this is how they shall represent Societas Draconistrarum within our borders as well as in the outside world. Full respect and honor shall be shown to Our Source, the Diabolics, and members of other Families, just as we show to each other. Our members strive to uphold the decrees of our Source, of the Progeny Councils and the sacred rules of our Family.
