We welcome you to the Devil’s Advocate Office!<br /> <br /> A Devil’s Advocate (DA) is a member of the community that offers their time and knowledge in order to work as Prosecution or Defense on a case.<br /> <br /> A DA interviews their client, collects evidence, gathers testimonies from witnesses and offers guidance as legal representatives to their client while preserving at all times their best interest.<br /> <br /> <br /> All DA applicants will receive formal training to familiarise themselves with:<br /> <br /> - GCSC Laws and Resolutions,<br /> <br /> - Progeny Diabolic Laws/System Laws,<br /> <br /> - proceedings and statutes for every role and stage of a case,<br /> <br /> - DA established Forms,<br /> <br /> - PLS Discord group and PLS Web App,<br /> <br /> - special training for the DA Clerk and/or DA Herald.<br /> <br /> <br /> DAs may also be trained to perform the roles of DA Clerks and/or DA Heralds. The DA Clerks are advocates specially trained to work on the official documents for each case, while the DA Heralds work as announcers on a Trial.<br /> <br /> <br /> We suggest you to take a look at the Timeline Guide for more insight about the procedures concerning the PLS.<br /> <br /> <br /> The Progeny Legal System works as a multilingual Institution on which we encourage the use of translators such as SL automatic translators or a free PC one (i.e. DeepL).<br /> <br /> <br /> All accepted applicants are reviewed after a 6 months period. Later on, they will be reviewed on a year basis.
