In the shadow-drenched valleys of Valeblood, where moonlight barely pierced the crimson fog, a whisper haunted the wind, a name spoken only by the doomed.

Crow.

The Dark Vampire Lord, ancient beyond reckoning, with eyes like frozen obsidian and a heart colder still. He was once a man, a warlord who led legions across forgotten empires, before trading his soul for eternal night. Now he prowled through midnight forests, castle ruins, and abandoned cathedrals, seeking not just blood, but transformation.

For Crow was building an army,
But not of brutes,
Not of beasts,
He wanted beauty,
He wanted vengeance cloaked in seduction,
He wanted Black Widows.

Each night, he hunted not for prey, but for potential.

He would appear in their dreams first, eyes glowing faint violet, voice like a distant thunderstorm, whispering promises of liberation, of power, of immortality. They awoke, drawn into the woods like moths to hellfire, barefoot in their nightgowns, trembling and curious.

And he would be waiting.

He never asked, He offered.

A kiss,
A bite,
A death,
And then, rebirth.

From the ruins of their former selves emerged deadly beauties, the Black Widow Vampires. Women once innocent, noble daughters, village girls, even cloistered nuns, now adorned in midnight silks, eyes glowing with Crow’s curse. Each of them gifted with a subtle magic, the power to beguile, to charm, to deceive.

They didn’t slaughter like beasts,
They assassinated like ghosts.

A nobleman dies in his bedchamber, drained and smiling,
A priest drops mid-sermon, his veins crystallized by venomous kisses,
A baron’s court collapses, every advisor turned into a corpse within a week, all by one new chambermaid.

Wherever they walked, kingdoms trembled.

Crow watched it unfold from the spires of his black citadel, perched like a wraith with wings made of fog and hate. He fed on the chaos. But he was not content. Each Widow carried a shard of his will, an extension of his wrath against the world that once tried to burn him, bury him, forget him.

Now the world remembered.

Whispers of the “Widow Plague” spread across continents, but no hunter ever returned. Silver blades dulled, garlic wilted, crosses shattered. For how can you slay what seduces you first? How do you defend against beauty that whispers your name?

But Crow’s plan was never just death,
It was control,
Each soul turned to darkness became a node in his growing web,
And at its center, him.

The last thing his victims ever saw was not his face, but hers,
A Black Widow, eyes glowing violet, smile sweet as poison,

Siempre entre las sombras, usando corrupción para su beneficio. Con el pasar de los siglos se formaron lazos y alianzas estratégicas con clanes de objetivos similares. Tras unos años viviendo cerca de un Clan Toreador y Ventrue adoptaron ciertas extravagancias elitistas de aquellos.
En la época moderna adoptaron una variante de su antiguo nombre, quedando Serpentae como se les conoce hasta la epoca contemporánea y actual.
