RULING ON THE MASQUERADE

:No vampire will show a Human their scans.
:No vampire will reveal another vampires true identity of being a vampire.
:Information about bites shall not be revealed to any non-vampire.
:Example:

Sharing of private system data (i.e. bite logs or bite notifications with a non-player is a direct violation.)

A progeny vampire running around with the progeny t-shirt and screaming 'I am a Progeny Vampire' is not a violation, but saying someone else is a Progeny vampire is a violation.

A term derived from other works, the Masquerade is the general concept of the rule of secrecy and technical security. In Progeny, we may perceive those not within our Realm, and although they have their ways to find us, they cannot see the information that we have access to on them or on one another. While one is free to declare themselves as a member of the community and Realm, it is deemed unacceptable to draw attention on other individuals who partake within it. Knowledge holds power, and minimizing the knowledge that mortals can acquire pertaining to those of this Realm is key to efficient safety.
