-Sanguis Novus is a clan within the Vuissent Bloodline, founded by Neo Rookstown and formally pledged on February 26, 2026. The clan traces its origins to the Progeny house known as the International House of Pancakes (IHOP), a neutral gathering place where Kindred from across the night could meet beneath a simple rule: grievances paused at the door, and no conflict began before the second stack.
 The foundations of Sanguis Novus were first laid under the Harbingers of Blood, where the house was permitted to take form under the watchful and occasionally adventurous sponsorship of Arch ZoeBlue. What began there as an experiment in hospitality and diplomacy gradually developed into a functioning community of Kindred who valued presence, loyalty, and the strange stability that comes from a table that is always open.
-As the culture of the house grew, so too did the structure around it. When Trinity Vuissent was granted a bloodline of her own, the opportunity arose to give formal shape to what had already been quietly built. Recognizing both the philosophy and the cohesion that had developed within the house, Sanguis Novus pledged its loyalty to the Vuissent Bloodline, becoming the first clan to carry the Vuissent name into the current era.
 The philosophy of Sanguis Novus is intentionally simple. The clan rejects the idea that immortality must be defined by solemn suffering or rigid hierarchy. Eternity is long, and the company one keeps within it matters. Strength is measured not by theatrical displays of misery or power, but by presence: showing up for the clan, standing beside its members, and contributing to the shared table without waiting to be asked.
 Within Progeny society, Sanguis Novus has developed a reputation that is difficult to categorize. Allies often describe the clan as welcoming and disarming; adversaries find it unpredictable; elders, more often than not, simply accept the invitation when it is offered. Beneath the humor and unconventional culture lies a clan built on loyalty, resilience, and the belief that even in eternity, the night is better faced together.
