History

Hecate, goddess of magic, witchcraft, crossroads, ghosts, necromancy, herbs and potions, goddess of the moon and night, Queen of Hell, Keeper of the Keys, Mistress of Corpses, is a deity with terrifying powers and yet she is also a champion and protector of the outcast and sidelined, she is the goddess of the wilderness, a healer and Queen of the Night.

The Clan of Hecate has grown from the House of Hecate. A family of witches who have also embraced the darkness and bond of the vampire world. The members of our family are both vampire and follow the spiritual guidance and education which comes from our Goddess.

We share the hunger and passion flowing through the veins of the vast world of Progeny Vampires, and are proudly nestled within the ancient bloodline of Raven’s Claw. We love all of our bloodline brothers and sisters, and respectfully cherish and recognise the leadership of our beloved Arch Vampire, Resa and her Blood Regent, Harper.

Our Arch, Resa, is also not only a powerful Arch Vampire, but a witch too, thus the perfect matriarch for our family.

Whilst following the rules and needs of the vampire life, we are guided by our Goddess. We worship her, we exist within a clan and a coven. The two seemingly unrelated entwining and growing, making our family dark and devilish.

We enjoy rituals and celebrations of both our species and our creed.

We are bewitching and deadly.

Hail Hecate!

History: House Hecate is a Vampire House in the clan of Hecate, which is part of the Raven’s Claw bloodline. It is also, and perhaps foremost, a coven of witches. We worship the great Greek Goddess Hecate.

Hecate was the Greek goddess of magic, witchcraft, crossroads, ghosts, necromancy, knowledge of herbs and poisonous plants. She was also known as the goddess of the moon and night.

Hecate was a wise goddess and she often helped gods in their wars against giants.

Hecate was called the queen and goddess of the night. Accompanied by her hounds, ghosts and people who were considered social outcasts, she took trips during night-time. Some of these trips were made to the underworld – sometimes to help other gods according to the myths.

She was also know as Mistress of Corpses, , Mother of Darkness, Moon Mistress and many other names.

The underworld is a land of the sleeping and the dead, a place that would not particularly be a choice for a goddess born in the Greek heavens.

Hecate felt comfortable in the underworld. Who did she find there? She found those who were shunned out of fear or misunderstanding.

Hecate witnessed the abduction of Persephone. Hecate saw Hades abduct Persephone to make her his new bride. After this happened, Zeus asked Hecate to go and search for Persephone.

Hecate found Persephone, but the outcome was not what Zeus wanted. Hecate went to the underworld and helped a frightened Persephone adjust to her new life. Hades appreciated this gesture. To show gratitude for Hecate’s actions, Hades invited her to be a permanent resident in the underworld. Hecate could come and go as she pleased.

She is a fascinating goddess and represents many of the values that we in Hecate hold dear.

We welcome all with an interest in witchcraft and who present with similar understandings, values and decency to our own.

Look for Hecate, we are not so hard to find!

History: Adrasteia is a Vampire House in Raven's Claw bloodline and the great clan of Hecate.

We are also a coven of witches; we celebrate the Goddess Hecate with solemn ceremonies in our lands

Our name comes from the nymph Adrasteia, which means inevitable in Greek. She was one of the nymphs who raised Zeus after Rhea rescued him from Cronus' voracity and, together with her sister Ida, hid him in a cave on Mount Ida in Crete, feeding him honey and milk. of the Amalthea goat

The two sisters were later placed in the sky as the constellations Ursa Major and Ursa Minor.

Our symbol is the Adrasteia tree, its meaning is "he from whom there is no escape"

The nymph Adrasteia is so called, because what has been prepared and established by her is unavoidable; therefore, it is also said that she makes noise in front of the cave of the Night: "bronze cymbals in the hands of Adrastea gave" On the threshold of the cave of the Night, in fact it is said that she makes noises with the cymbals so that everything obeys her laws.

The sound of his cymbals extending in every direction is analogous to the solemn proclamation addressed to souls regarding the Law of Adrasteia: "This is the Law of Adrasteia: whichever soul has seen any of the true entities, shall be free from punishment."

Adrastea is therefore placed in the supercelestial place, and dominates all the divine Laws, from above to the last levels. She connects all the Laws to her only Law: "all these norms, on the basis of a single intelligible simplicity, are contained in the Law of Adrastea", because this Law guarantees to all both the being and the measures of their power.
