• I am a warrior. I was born as one and have lived as one. I have killed many, for various reasons. Most have deserved their fate, many have not, and for the ones that did not, I am sorry.

• I have traveled this earth for over 27 centuries, mostly alone, mostly uncaring, doing my job for a warlord or as a personal vendetta. The only joy was obtained at the end of my sword or the tips of my fangs.

• I was at Rome when it was sacked. I was at the crucifixion of the Nazarene. I watched as William prevailed at Hastings and the Romanov's were overthrown.

• Vampires - With few exceptions, Michael considers other vampires as nothing more than parasites and a burden to be endured. The vampires he has chosen to align with or has taken as family are the exceptions. They hold a place in his heart and he will serve and protect them without question. They are his family.

• Humans - They are a necessary burden to endure as they are the source of his food. Other than being anymore that a source of nutrients, Michael has let very few humans into his inner circle.
