Raven's Claw vs Bastion

• WE will not forget this wound to our clans or those who inflicted it. We will not yield; We will not rest; We will not relent in waging this struggle for freedom and security for Ravens Claws people. The course of this conflict is not known, yet its outcome is certain. Freedom and fear, justice and cruelty, have always been at war, and we know that the devil is not neutral between them.
• Fellow citizens, we'll meet violence with patient justice--assured of the rightness of our cause, and confident of the victories to come. In all that lies before us, may our leaders grant us wisdom, and may We watch over the United Clans of Ravens Claw
• Great harm has been done to us. We have suffered great loss. And in our grief and anger we have found our mission and our moment. Freedom and fear are at war. The advance of Vampiric freedom--the great achievement of our time, and the great hope of every time--now depends on us. Our nation--all generations--will lift a dark threat of violence from our people and our future. We will rally the world to this cause by our efforts, by our courage. We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail.
• We ask you to uphold the values of Ravens Claw, and remember why so many have come here. We are in a fight for our principles, and our first responsibility is to live by them. No one should be singled out for unfair treatment or unkind words because of their background or Species. . . .
• Ravens Claw is not deceived by Bastions pretenses to piety. We have seen their kind before. They are the heirs of all the murderous ideologies of this century. By sacrificing human life to serve their radical visions--by abandoning every value except the will to power--they follow in the path of totalitarianism. And they will follow that path all the way, to where it ends: in history's unmarked grave of discarded lies.
• Be it enacted, by the Arch and Council of Raven’s Claw assembled, and the Sovereigns of its five clans, that a state of war is hereby declared to exist between the Sovereign Clans of Raven’s Claw and Bastion bloodline and its allies. The Arch of Raven’s Claw, Lledge Eames, authorizes the leaders of all clans and houses to use all force in such form as they shall think proper, to wreak reprisals upon Bastion for the wrongs it has perpetrated upon the people, houses, and Sovereign Clans of Raven’s Claw.
• Famed for its dedication to civility and justice, Raven’s Claw regrets that it must now commit itself to a course of violence. RC has exerted all due diligence to maintain the peace that we all value, and has endured slights with forbearance. Meanwhile, Bastion and its allies has committed a series of abusive acts so consistent, pervasive, scurrilous, and malicious, that they can no longer be ignored. Therefore be it proclaimed that Ravens Claw from this day forward will counteract force with force, and exact blood for blood. All followers of the cursed sect of Bastion, its rogue leader Rade Plasma and his allies, are now to be considered fair game, eligible to be chased down like the cowardly terrorists that they are, and destroyed with all due dispatch in all locations whatsoever, save the Progeny sim.
• The Bastion Bloodline has acted out its pervasive insults and injuries against RC before the full gaze of a candid world. Their offenses are of such long duration, and so numerous, that we choose to list only the most recent and egregious examples:
  • Bastion has attacked RC vampires and humans in their homelands, violating the peace of our dwellings, the sanctity of our homes, and the good order of our businesses.
  • Bastion has insulted with wild abandon the integrity of our patron Diabolic, Oberon Eames, who has labored long and hard to serve Our Source and all the vampires of Progeny in every Bloodline and nation.
  • Bastion has hurled slanderous allegations about the internal workings of RC throughout the public prints, therein violating the indissoluble and undiluted sovereignty of RC.
• All the world must agree that RC has extended more forbearance toward these violations than necessary, and has no other choice but to declare Bastion and its allies beyond any of the protections that we would extend as a matter of course to civilized vampires. We look upon these damnable acts on the part of Bastion and its allies as adumbrations of a larger and broader plot to establish an absolute tyranny over Progeny.
• The extirpation of this menace is not the cause of RC alone. It is the cause of all Vampirekind. All who wish to live in freedom and deny despotism its due. We invite all likeminded bloodlines, clans, houses and individuals to join with us in the noble effort to restore Progeny to its full potential and to eradicate the bitter poison that has crept in amongst us – a poison that must be sunk into a pit of oblivion, obscurity, and opprobrium so deep that it can nevermore ascend to show its face in the dark of night.
• So say we, Arch Lledge and the Sovereigns of the Five Clans of RC, this day the 29th of April in the year of our Source 2014

• By decree of the Arch of Dark Retribution, the following is in effect at this time of war between the Bloodlines of Ravens Claw and Bastion.
• We as a line will remain neutral in this conflict. Though all of us have friends within these Bloodlines, we will not side with one or the other. Nor will we give aid or sanctuary to those involved in said conflict.
• Dark Retribution is not a ally to either of the parties in this matter or any other. This so called war is not our concern. It's my personal opinion that both of these lines drag down the integrity of Progeny by this action since the only weapons that can be used are 3rd party griefer tools, insults, and fangs. Progeny is not at a point with weapons for role play for this type action. Please remember anyone slain at this time cannot be revived until after the war is final.
• Because we are neutral, it could be construed that any interaction with either of these clans could be of helping their enemy. Though I give every right to defend yourselves from attacks on your person, I request that if you are bitten, you save your bite alert, tp out, and send the bite alert and a full report on the incident to your Sovereign. Affairs of this type will be settled AFTER the "war" is final.
• Any reports that one of our line has instigated actions between these two Bloodlines will be investigated and if found to be true, the offender will be either hunted down and slain to sit the remainder of the war on the sidelines and or being outcast depending on the severity of the action.
• I will not allow the petty drama of one or more persons here to drag my line into this conflict under any circumstances.
