  • There are two defined types of renegade clans.
  • The first, I call "The Dissident Renegade" they are defined as a clan who is remote, and/or disagrees with their Arch. They remove themselves from their Arch Vampires rule and turn their backs on their bloodline. This form of renegade is none of the council's business and is an inner Bloodline issue.
  • The second, I call "The Political Renegade" this type is a law breaking and irresponsible clan. One that willfully and frequently breaks the GCSC's rules for Inter-Clan conduct, and/or actively promotes the breaking of said rules within their houses.

  • Policy on GCSC Renegade Clans
  • Rights of the Clans
  • All Clans are guaranteed a Seat on the GCSC Council for its Sovereign. This seat may be occupied by the Sovereign, Ambassador or Proxy.
  • All clans have exactly one vote to be cast in the case of GCSC resolutions votes, unless voting privileges have been revoked by the GCSC Body.
  • Responsibilities of the Clan
  • In order to maintain voting rights a Clan must participate in a majority of GCSC meetings being represented by one of the three primary clan officers.
  • The clan must actively support the resolutions voted into being by the GCSC. Clans whose membership frequently disregard or act in opposition to the resolutions of the GCSC are in danger of having voting privileges revoked.
  • It is the right of the Clan to reject membership to the GCSC effectively giving up their right to a seat on the council or to be heard by the council.
  • Rights of the GCSC Body
  • It is the right of the GCSC Body to have orderly meetings, have all opinions and positions adequately defended before votes are casted.
  • It is also the right of the GCSC to expect it’s fairly passed resolutions to be observed by all membership clans.
  • Clans who are proven to not observe the resolutions of the GCSC can be denied voting rights.
  • Involvement of the GCSC Body and the Diabolic Conclave.
  • In Contempt of the GCSC:
  • Clans who are found to be in contempt of the GCSC, either by frequent and active disregard of Resolutions, or by active disrupting of GCSC meeting proceedings, or publicly slandering the membership of the GCSC can have their membership removed by a majority vote of the GCSC.
  • Vote through GCSC:
  • If the GCSC feels that a given clan is acting as a renegade that consistently opposes the GCSC then a vote can be called within the GCSC chambers to request that the given clan be stripped of voting rights.
  • If the GCSC further wishes for a said clan to be an Enemy of Vampire Society (described below) the GCSC should have a majority vote to request a clan to be EOVS then should have the chair request a hearing of the Diabolic Conclave.
  • Diabolic Conclave: EOVS:
  • The current Chair must request a hearing of the Diabolic Conclave on this matter after a majority vote of the GCSC to make a clan EOVS, The Defendant Clan will be given the opportunity to speak to defend their positions.
  • Clans found to be Renegade Extermus by the Diabolic Conclave will have their attendance privileges revoked and all members of said clan be considered EOVS Enemy of Vampire Society
  • Appeal of EOVS and/or Voting Rights
  • Removal of EOVS status or to regain voting rights can be appealed through the clan’s patron Diabolic, if the Patron wishes to call a full hearing of the Diabolic Conclave. Diabolics will hear the Clan’s point of view, and the Chair’s Point of View, Each Arch will be afforded the opportunity to speak. The Diabolic Conclave can call any witnesses it deems fit.
  • EOVS status can be revoked at any time by the Diabolic Conclave, if the Conclave feels that restitution and rehabilitation have been achieved.
