	History:	House Hecate is a Vampire House in the Societas Draconistrarum bloodline and the great clan of Sinclair. It is also, and perhaps foremost, a coven of witches. We worship the great Greek Goddess Hecate. Hecate was the Greek goddess of magic, witchcraft, crossroads, ghosts, necromancy, knowledge of herbs and poisonous plants. She was also known as the goddess of the moon and night. Hecate was a wise goddess and she often helped gods in their wars against giants. Hecate was called the queen and goddess of the night. Accompanied by her hounds, ghosts and people who were considered social outcasts, she took trips during night-time. Some of these trips were made to the underworld – sometimes to help other gods according to the myths. She was also know as Mistress of Corpses, , Mother of Darkness, Moon Mistress and many other names. The underworld is a land of the sleeping and the dead, a place that would not particularly be a choice for a goddess born in the Greek heavens. Hecate felt comfortable in the underworld. Who did she find there? She found those who were shunned out of fear or misunderstanding. Hecate witnessed the abduction of Persephone. Hecate saw Hades abduct Persephone to make her his new bride. After this happened, Zeus asked Hecate to go and search for Persephone. Hecate found Persephone, but the outcome was not what Zeus wanted. Hecate went to the underworld and helped a frightened Persephone adjust to her new life. Hades appreciated this gesture. To show gratitude for Hecate’s actions, Hades invited her to be a permanent resident in the underworld. Hecate could come and go as she pleased. She is a fascinating goddess and represents many of the values that we in Hecate hold dear. We welcome all with an interest in witchcraft and who present with similar understandings, values and decency to our own. Look for Hecate, we are not so hard to find!

	History:	House of Lamiae The Lamiae (singular Lamia) were a bloodline of the Cappadocian clan, founded by Lamia (a rumored descendant and high priestess of Lilith). Members of this bloodline served the Cappadocians as dervishes and warriors until the purge orchestrated by the Giovanni, in 1444 CE. According to the Giovanni, when Lamia herself was diablerized, she passed on the curse to the Giovanni, which manifested as the Giovanni's extraordinarily painful Kiss. The Lamia were a bloodline of Cainites devoted to defending Clan Cappadocian, though originally they were a group of cultists that claimed to be descended from Lilith, Adam's first wife. Their high priestess (who claimed the name Lamia) was rumoured to be a direct daughter of the Dark Mother. According to legend, the Cappadocian elder named Lazarus found her performing sacred rites to Lilith. Impressed by her skill and perhaps taken with her fierce beauty, he Embraced the high priestess. While she died and the Change took her, Lilith was said to have given her a vision; a deep understanding of her future and that of the Cappadocians. When she recovered, she whispered something to Lazarus, and the Cappadocian elder fled in terror. Lamia did find her way back to the clan, though, and her bloodline became the warriors and guardians of the Cappadocians. They were never very numerous, but important Graverobbers often had at least one Gorgon standing at their side. The Lamia learned to feed sparingly, since their bite carried disease, and developed their own path of Necromancy based on the four humors. Over the centuries, they became an important resource for the Cappadocians. And yet, behind their loyalty was perhaps a greater dedication to the Dark Mother and to the vision of their founder. In Cairo by Night, a mysterious set of female vampires known as the Lilin appeared, sharing much of the same traits as the Lamia and claiming the same heritage and distinct independence from sect politics and one of those Lilin was Angelique. The Lilin showed up for the Family Reunion, proudly taking up their former mantle as warriors and guardians in the new iteration of the Clan of Death. They do not lightly suffer those who deride their Bahari faith or insult their martial skills. Our foundering mother Angelique was Embraced by Lazarus himself. Mother Angelique moved to France where she met Charles Juste de Beauvau where they had a daughter Named Aliana. Angelique aim was to bear only one child with both royal and noble blood which she did. Mother Angelique and Aliana were in separable, Angelique recognised greatness for Aliana with her noble and Royal vampire blood they travelled widely through France until Lorraine. There they met Gilles de Rais. With Aliana beauty Gilles fell for her, there relationship was passionate but also violent their thirst for blood ruled their passion for each other was immense but it was short lived as Aliana was only his mistress. Aliana was now a mother and pregnant with another child Aliana fled back to Toulouse, the ancestral home, Angelique was frail and old, Aliana wanted her daughter Amity to learn from her grandmother which she did. Aliana other daughter Dominique was an unruly where Angelique took complete control over her and saw Lilith in her, Dominique was completely devoted to her, Dominique became a High Priestess shut away and leant every things she could possibly use in the future As soon as Amity became of age she left Toulouse for Castle of Csejte near Little Carpathian Slovak where she meet Miklos Nadasdy who was a descendent of Countess Elizabeth Báthory de Ecsed where he ruled over 17 villages . Amity was his Queen Miklos and Amity had a daughter named Isabella. Miklos died and Amity returned to Toulouse with Isabella who was at the age to learn the old ways, Isabella learnt quickly how to use her beauty, but Isabella had a lust for blood and it was strong and at times uncontrollable, it was becoming a problem, both Aliana and Dominique recognised the possible dangers of that problem, so Aliana Amity and Dominique discussed the matter and it was decided that Isabella was to be sent to Paris, to be under the guidance of the family de Montmorency which Aliana kept in contact. Over the next few decades the bond between the de Montmorency grew to the point where Aliana and her daughters Amity and Dominique and her grand daughter Isabella were recognised as a part of the clan. They had changed, their time in Paris had made them reckless as they indulged in all sorts of wicked and debauched ways, they met person going by the name Marlene a Prussian princess who was devoted to the Marquis De Sade, Marlene fell deeply in love with Dominique, who in turn introduce her to the ways of the ancients, Marlene embrace this eternal life, but disappeared. Heartbroken Dominique and Isabella when on a rampage with their lust for blood, fearing the worst Aliana and Amity decided it was time to return back to Toulouse, their time in Paris was extremely profitable plus the French nobility where tired of Dominique and Isabella’s behaviour. When they return to Toulouse their Chateau was on the verge of ruin, fearing that Angelique tomb had been discovered they started extensive renovations, where a mausoleum was constructed, as tension in France roused and the hunt for their kind intensify. The Lamiae women decided it was time to slumber with their matriarch Angelique. Their tombs where only to be open by a true believer of their legend and ways. A century and half pasted and a Swedish noble’s daughter who had been turned to the old ways had heard the legend of the Lamiae women and came searching as many before her did, but there was something special about this one. She went by the name of Dani, she started to understand the secrets of the Chateau which others before her failed on a stormy night of 31st October 1925, she discovered the secret of opening the tombs. Which she did the first to raise was Dominique then Amity and then Isabella, they talked for hrs on that first night and it was decided that it wasn’t time for Angelique and Aliana to rise, this could only happen when the House of lamiae was truly established Word spend quickly through the dark world that the Lamiae women had risen, four became eight with Veronique, Kira, Astrid and Dyxxie but the family felt incomplete then an old friend came knocking it was Marlene and her partner Ale and now the family was complete, The world had changed as did the original lamiae women, they still had their beauty and their lust for blood but they had learnt from their history to be careful who they let in to their amazing and loving world and from the shadows, they could influence world events, but never in the open and abided by the laws that govern them.
