History: The Clan of Luna

Clan De Luna is an ancient coven born among the crimson stones of Collonges-la-Rouge, in the South-West of France. Its origins reach back into forgotten centuries, when witches were hunted as heretics and the wrath of the Church threatened their very existence.

In the Coven’s darkest hour, their ancestor, Fauna d’Hekate — Mother of Night, chose immortality rather than extinction. Through forbidden mysteries, she crossed the threshold between life and death and returned transformed : Vampire. Immortal. Eternal.

Through her sacrifice, Fauna preserved the blood and spirit of Luna, giving birth to a lineage of Vampire-Witches and Warlocks that would endure through the centuries. Empires fell. Wars consumed nations. Generations disappeared. Still, Clan De Luna remained.

Hidden among mortals, the Children of Luna preserved their ancient rites, their magic and their devotion to Hekate. Beneath the moon, in forgotten sanctuaries and sacred places, the old ceremonies continue. The Clan does not seek followers...... It recognizes its own. Those touched by the unseen, drawn by dreams, mystery and ancient magic eventually discover the truth carried through generations: The greatest transformation is rebirth. From that bloodline came Lady Veecky De Luna, heir to Fauna’s legacy and founder of Clan De Luna. When Lady Veecky gathered the Children of Luna beneath one banner, she created House Sanguis Luna as her Royal House — a living link between the ancient blood of Fauna and the Clan born from it. Sanguis Luna stands for loyalty, wisdom and diplomacy. It exists not to dominate, but to preserve the unity of the Clan, protect its traditions and forge bonds beyond its borders. 	History:	LORE OF DRAKON LUNA House Drakon Luna House Drakon Luna is an ancient lunar bloodline of witches-turned-vampires within Clan de Luna, tracing its origins to a hidden Celtic highland coven devoted to the Moon, the Old Gods, and the sacred balance between worlds. Long before their transformation, the founders of the House were guardians of lunar mysteries and keepers of the Old Ways. Under the light of Gealach Mhòr, the Great Moon, they forged a pact with the Moon Dragon, An Dràkon na Gealaich, receiving a spark of draconic fire and becoming a people set apart from ordinary mortals. Their fate changed during the First Age of Vampirism when a horde sent by Lilith, the First of the Night, descended upon their valley. Rather than face extinction, the coven gathered at a threefold crossroads and invoked Hekate, Keeper of Thresholds. Through a sacred pact between Hekate and Lilith, the witches crossed willingly into vampirism, preserving their memories, traditions, and sovereignty while embracing immortality. From this union of Blood, Dragon, and Moon, House Drakon Luna was born. Unlike many vampire houses, but in the tradition of the Clan De Luna which they later joined, its members retain their connection to witchcraft, lunar rites, Celtic traditions, and the ancient dragon pact that defines their lineage. Today, House Drakon Luna stands as a sanctuary for vampires, witches, shapeshifters, and allies who honor loyalty, knowledge, transformation, and chosen family. From the halls of Castle Drakon, the House continues to celebrate the Sabbats, guard the mysteries of the Moon, and uphold the oath that has endured through centuries: "By Blood, Dragon, and Moon – We endure."
