A crimson tempest raged across the highlands of the lost Vale of Aegyros, tearing the heavens with black lightning and shrieking winds that spoke in tongues no mortal could bear to hear. On that night of omens, legend tells that the malevolent storm was made flesh, and the Princeps of House Tempest Shadows struck a covenant with an ancient, sky-bound entity—trading unknown treasures for arcane foresight and forbidden knowledge. From that unholy pact, her lineage was forever marked. Lightning coursed through their veins; shadows bent to their will. They moved between the world’s fractures as if the night itself had opened to receive them. Around their fortress, Caelum Nocturnum, a cathedral of stone carved from the mountain’s bones, the wild valleys and jagged crags became a sanctuary. Here, the lost of their kind, the forgotten, those thirsting for knowledge and acceptance, found refuge. Bonds were forged not by blood alone, but by a shared yearning to belong—to be understood in the darkness of their existence. And so, the tradition of the haven endures, carried through the ages, echoing with the heartbeat of a storm and calling the family home. Now, the skies darken…the storm gathers once again...the Tempest Shadows awaken!
